MSI Launched PRO B650-A WIFI Motherboard
Recently, MSI launched a new motherboard model named “PRO B650-A WIFI” on its website. MSI stated that the new product is tailored for professionals across various industries, featuring a plethora of flexible tools and convenient designs. Equipped with a Wi-Fi solution, it provides a reliable product for users who prioritize productivity and efficiency, aiding in multitasking and enhancing work performance.
The PRO B650-A WIFI motherboard conforms to the ATX specification, boasting a 14+2+1 phase DRPS power design, 80A high-spec DrMOS, a 6-layer 2-ounce copper PCB, and dual 8-pin power connectors. MSI has utilized a silver-white diagonal heat sink cover and extended heat sinks in the I/O area, increasing the cooling surface area. Heat sinks covering the VRM and chipset enhance cooling efficiency, while the reinforced M.2 heat sink solution ensures the security of M.2 SSDs to maintain high-speed operation.
This motherboard offers four DDR5 memory slots, supporting up to DDR5-7600+ (OC) specifications and AMD EXPO technology, with a maximum capacity of 256GB. It is equipped with one PCIe 4.0 x16 full-length slot, one PCIe 4.0 x2 full-length slot, and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. The x16 full-length slot features alloy reinforcement for durability. There are three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 interfaces, one supporting M.2 2280/22110 specifications and the other two supporting M.2 2260/2280 specifications, along with four SATA III interfaces.
In terms of rear I/O, the motherboard is equipped with one USB 20Gbps Type-C port, three USB 10Gbps Type-A ports, four USB 5Gbps Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, a 2.5Gbps network port (Realtek RTL8125B), and antenna interfaces for the Wi-Fi module (with Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3 card). It also provides a set of 7.1 channel audio output interfaces with S/PDIF optical output. Additionally, the motherboard offers one USB 10Gbps Type-C header, one USB 5Gbps Type-A header, and two USB 2.0 headers for front I/O or expansion.
