Qualcomm Snapdragon Powers Up Manchester United
Qualcomm has announced its new partnership as the principal shirt sponsor for both the men’s and women’s teams of Manchester United Football Club. Starting from the 2024-2025 season, the Snapdragon logo will prominently feature on the front of Manchester United’s home, away, and third kits.
Since 2022, Qualcomm and Manchester United have been engaged in a long-term global strategic partnership focused on the Snapdragon brand. This new shirt sponsorship marks an expansion of their existing collaboration. Adidas has already unveiled Manchester United’s new season kits, and the team will debut them in the upcoming pre-season tour across Europe and the United States. This includes a match against La Liga’s Real Betis at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on July 31.
Qualcomm has also produced a promotional video featuring Manchester United legend Eric Cantona, celebrating his passion, creativity, and dedication—qualities that align with the Snapdragon brand. Currently, only the home kit has been revealed, with the away and third kits set to be released later this month.
In addition to the shirt sponsorship, Qualcomm has agreed to assist Manchester United in enhancing the mobile network at Old Trafford to improve the matchday experience for fans. The sponsorship deal is reported to be worth £60 million annually, the highest value for a shirt sponsorship in football history. Previously, the club’s shirt sponsor was the German software company TeamViewer, with an annual sponsorship fee of £47 million.
