Following its acquisition of the NUC product line from Intel and the subsequent release of multiple NUC models, ASUS unveiled an updated array of NUC devices at CES 2025, alongside a selection of compact PC systems.
The upgraded NUC 14 Pro AI+ features a colorful E-Ink display panel embedded in its lid, enabling customizable visuals. Despite this addition, the device retains its lightweight design, incorporating the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, codenamed “Lunar Lake,” alongside an Arc GPU, LPDDR5X memory, and M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. It is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 ports and supports up to three simultaneous 4K display outputs.
Additionally, ASUS introduced the NUC 15 Pro and NUC 15 Pro+, powered by the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor, codenamed “Arrow Lake.” These models boast a 19% performance increase and AI computing capabilities of up to 99 TOPS, supporting up to four 4K displays simultaneously. Both devices adhere to Intel vPro standards and have passed the rigorous MIL-STD 810H certification for durability. They are designed for tool-free component replacement and maintenance. The NUC 15 Pro+ also includes an advanced ultra-quiet cooling system to ensure stable and silent operation.
Furthermore, ASUS expanded its lineup with the ExpertCenter PN54, a mini PC powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen processors. The device supports up to 64GB of 5600MHz DDR5 memory and M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs, with the capability to drive up to four 4K displays simultaneously. It is also equipped with a dedicated Copilot button, allowing users to quickly access Microsoft Copilot functionalities. Like its Intel-based counterparts, the PN54 offers tool-free component replacement and maintenance.
Since the ExpertCenter PN54 is built on AMD processors, it does not bear the NUC designation, which remains exclusive to Intel-powered models.
