ASRock launches X600TM-ITX motherboard
Recently, ASRock introduced a new AM5 motherboard model, the “X600TM-ITX,” claiming it to be the world’s first Thin Mini ITX motherboard supporting AM5. ASRock states that this new product unleashes unprecedented performance in the smallest form factor, making it perfect for mini PCs, all-in-one systems, and HTPCs. It offers exceptional performance, flexibility, and durability, allowing users to experience the capabilities of the AM5 platform in a Thin Mini ITX size, thereby enhancing the user experience.
ASRock, known for its mini PC product line, already features products using the X600 motherboard, so offering the X600TM-ITX separately is not surprising. The motherboard adopts the Thin Mini ITX form factor, measuring 17 x 17 cm, and features a 4+1+1 phase power design. It supports AMD Ryzen 7000/8000G/9000 series processors and provides two SO-DIMM memory slots, supporting up to DDR5-6400+ (OC) with a maximum capacity of 96GB. It can accommodate single memory sticks of 24GB or 48GB, supporting Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technologies.
The motherboard offers two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots (Hyper M.2), both with x4 lanes. One slot supports M.2 2260/2280 specifications, while the other only supports M.2 2280 specifications. Additionally, two SATA III ports support NCQ, AHCI, and hot-swapping, and an M.2 2230 slot for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules.
For rear I/O, the X600TM-ITX offers various customizable options. The typical configuration includes one DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 port, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports. The audio solution is provided by Realtek ALC269, and there is a 1Gbps Ethernet port (Realtek RTL8111H). Users can also opt for additional ports such as D-Sub according to their needs. The front I/O features a USB 3.2 Gen1 header and a USB 2.0 header. Additionally, there is an internal HDMI 2.1 port.
