Following the early June release of its initial teaser for a new generation of foldable smartphones—promising a “Galaxy Ultra” experience—Samsung has unveiled a second wave of promotional content, highlighting the forthcoming Galaxy Z series as its thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable lineup to date, with enhanced durability to match.
Footage from the preview reveals that the new Galaxy Z series device—presumed to be the Galaxy Z Fold7—features a noticeably slimmer profile, with its folded thickness significantly reduced compared to its predecessor.
This refined design likely draws from innovations introduced with the previously released Galaxy S25 Edge, which incorporated a miniaturized camera module and reinforced both the frame and hinge for improved structural integrity.
Samsung has previously indicated that its forthcoming “Ultra” experience will merge the versatility of foldable displays with the intelligence of AI, empowering the device to meet a wide range of everyday needs with greater efficiency.
Barring unforeseen changes, Samsung is expected to debut both the large-format Galaxy Z Fold7 and the more compact Galaxy Z Flip7. However, it remains uncertain whether the long-rumored tri-fold device, allegedly named the “Galaxy G Fold,” will also make its debut.
