MediaTek Unleashes Dimensity 7300 Series for Seamless Gaming & Streaming
MediaTek has announced the launch of the Dimensity 7300 series, which includes the Dimensity 7300 and Dimensity 7300X. As the latest additions to the Dimensity family, the 7300 series integrates MediaTek’s next-generation AI enhancements and connectivity technologies, enabling users to enjoy seamless gaming and streaming experiences. The Dimensity 7300X supports dual-screen displays, allowing device manufacturers to create uniquely designed products.
The Dimensity 7300 series is manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and features a 4+4 cluster CPU design, comprising four high-performance cores (Cortex-A78 @ 2.5 GHz) and four efficiency cores (Cortex-A55). This results in a 25% reduction in power consumption compared to the previous generation Dimensity 7050, while maintaining the same performance level. The GPU is a Mali-G615, supporting MediaTek’s HyperEngine game engine, which enhances game frame rates and energy efficiency by 20%. The integrated AI processor, APU 655, boosts AI task processing efficiency and supports new mixed-precision data types. The series also includes the MediaTek MiraVision 955 mobile display processor, supporting stunning 10-bit true color WFHD+ displays, and the 12-bit HDR-ISP image processor, Imagiq 950, which supports up to 200-megapixel primary cameras. It offers precise noise reduction (MCNR), portrait detection (HWFD), video HDR, and improves the dynamic range of 4K HDR video recording by 50%, delivering richer image details.
Additionally, the Dimensity 7300 series integrates a 3GPP R16 5G modem, enhancing the connectivity performance and range of Sub-6GHz networks, supporting three-carrier aggregation with a theoretical peak downlink rate of 3.27GB/s. It also features the proprietary UltraSave 3.0+ power-saving technology, tri-band Wi-Fi 6E, dual 5G SIM technology, and dual SIM VoNR. Furthermore, it supports Bluetooth LE Audio and dual-link true wireless stereo audio, among other advanced technologies.
