GIGABYTE releases B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 motherboard
Gigabyte has announced the release of the B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 motherboard. According to Gigabyte, this new product is designed for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 9000 series processors, codenamed “Granite Ridge.” It offers dual USB4 ports and comprehensive advanced features, allowing users to enjoy the benefits of the next-generation AM5 platform ahead of time. Benchlife had previously leaked this product a few days ago, providing a general understanding of its specifications.
The B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 motherboard adheres to the ATX form factor and features a 16+2+2 phase digital power design, with each phase capable of delivering up to 80A. The power MOSFETs and M.2 slots are covered with heat dissipation armor to ensure stability during high-speed operation. It offers four DDR5 memory slots, supporting up to DDR5-8000+ (OC) specifications and a maximum capacity of 192GB, with individual module capacities of 24GB or 48GB. It includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 full-length slot, one PCIe 4.0 x4 full-length slot, and one PCIe 3.0 x2 full-length slot. There are four M.2 slots, all equipped with the M.2 EZ-Latch Plus quick-release feature; three of these slots support PCIe 5.0 x4 channels, with one slot supporting 25110/22110/2580/2280 sizes, and two supporting 22110/2280 sizes. The fourth M.2 slot supports PCIe 4.0 x4 channels and 22110/2280 sizes. Additionally, it provides four SATA III ports, supporting RAID 0/1/10, and includes a wireless card supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, based on MediaTek’s MT7927 chip, featuring a new quick-release antenna design.
On the rear I/O panel, the B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 includes two USB4 ports (40Gbps), one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports (10Gbps), four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports (5Gbps), and four USB 2.0 ports. It also features a 2.5GbE Ethernet port, audio jacks, and an S/PDIF output. The front I/O panel provides one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 and one USB 3.2 Gen1 header.
