Cooler Master’s 57-Inch GP57ZS Redefines Gaming Monitors at COMPUTEX
At COMPUTEX 2024, Cooler Master showcased a plethora of products. One standout was an exceptionally large monitor, the GP57ZS, a 57-inch gaming display that equates to two 32-inch monitors seamlessly merged, boasting a dual 4K high-refresh-rate, top-tier performance.
The GP57ZS gaming monitor features a 57-inch curved VA screen with a 1000R curvature, supporting mini LED backlight technology with 2304 local dimming zones, 10-bit color depth, and a 32:9 aspect ratio. Its resolution is dual 4K (7680 x 2160), with a DCI-P3 color gamut of 98%. It is also equipped with Cooler Master’s custom new cooling module and new speakers.
Cooler Master has not provided detailed specifications such as the refresh rate and input configurations, as the GP57ZS gaming monitor is still in development. Previously, both Samsung and Acer have offered similar products, likely using the same panel.
In addition to the GP57ZS gaming monitor, Cooler Master also unveiled more mainstream products at COMPUTEX 2024, including the GP27QP and GM27QP, both newly designed 27-inch gaming monitors with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, 1ms response time, built-in stereo speakers, and low blue light and flicker-free design. The GM27QP features a curved VA panel with a 1500R curvature, a 160Hz refresh rate, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, one DP 1.4 port, and two HDMI 2.0 ports.
The GP27QP has a flat mini LED panel with 1152 local dimming zones, a typical brightness of 350 nits, a contrast ratio of 2500:1, VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, two DP 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.1 ports, a USB Type-C port (providing 96W PD power), and a hub function with three USB Type-A ports.
