ASUS officially releases NUC 14 Pro+ mini PC
In October of last year, ASUS and Intel formally signed an agreement, completing the transfer of the NUC product line. According to the agreement previously reached by both parties, ASUS will manufacture, sell, and support Intel’s 10th to 13th generation NUC product lines, and develop and design future NUC systems. To this end, ASUS has established a new department called “ASUS NUC BU.” In fact, since September 1, 2023, the NUC product line has become part of ASUS.
At CES 2024 earlier this year, ASUS launched the ROG NUC mini gaming PC. However, this is not a traditional NUC in the true sense, and the subsequent NUC 14 Pro is the actual replacement for past NUCs. Now, ASUS has officially announced the release of the NUC 14 Pro+ series, featuring an anodized aluminum body in a 5 x 4 inch (overall dimensions 144mm x 112mm x 41mm) silver-white chassis, weighing approximately 800g. It boasts an exquisite and stylish appearance, making it ideal for corporate or home office settings, with a design that supports quick, secure, and easy upgrades.
The NUC 14 Pro+ series offers a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 125H to Core Ultra 9 185H processors, with integrated Arc graphics; it is equipped with dual SO-DIMM slots, supporting up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory; it includes M.2 2242 and M.2 2280 slots, supporting NVMe SSDs; it supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and provides a 2.5GbE network port.
This mini PC also features a rich array of interface configurations to meet various complex workloads and expansion needs. The front I/O ports include a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, while the rear I/O ports include dual Thunderbolt 4, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, a USB 2.0, two HDMI 2.1, and an RJ45 LAN port. Interestingly, it does not include the commonly found 3.5mm audio jack.
