ASUS Launches ExpertCenter PN43 mini PC
Asus announces the launch of the ExpertCenter PN43 mini PC. Asus states that the new product is compact, with a front dimension equivalent to half a smartphone, making it ideal for space-constrained environments where traditional PCs cannot fit, ranging from digital signage to small home office settings.
The ExpertCenter PN43 mini PC measures 166.2 x 119.7 x 33.9 mm and weighs approximately 0.7 kg, featuring a sleek black exterior. It is available in both actively cooled and fanless versions to cater to different preferences and needs. The actively cooled model enhances performance, ensuring optimal processing power for demanding tasks. The fanless model provides a quiet computing environment, perfect for noise-sensitive users or silent operation scenarios. Additionally, it supports VESA wall mounting, enhancing deployment flexibility.
The new device offers a choice of Intel N97/N100/N200 processors, utilizing Alder Lake-N chips, each with 4 cores and 4 threads, manufactured with Intel 7 process technology. It includes a single SO-DIMM slot, supporting up to 32GB of DDR4 memory; an M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, supporting NVMe SSDs from 128GB to 2TB; and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 or Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
The ExpertCenter PN43 features four USB 3.2 Type-A ports (10Gbps) and headphone and microphone jacks on the front I/O. The rear I/O includes three USB 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, an HDMI port, and dual 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. Additionally, this mini PC offers a configurable port, adding to its flexibility, and can support up to three display outputs or two 4K monitors.
