ASUS announces detailed specifications of ROG STRIX XG27UCG
Previously, ASUS announced the introduction of the ROG STRIX XG27UCG, hailed as the “world’s first dual-mode display LCD gaming monitor.” It allows users to freely switch between high refresh rate mode (FHD@320Hz) and high-resolution mode (4K@160Hz) depending on the content.
ASUS has now published the detailed specifications of the ROG STRIX XG27UCG on its official website, confirming many previously unknown details. It features a 27-inch Fast IPS panel, a color depth of 10-bit, a viewing angle of 178 degrees (both horizontal and vertical), a response time (GtG) of 1ms, typical/HDR peak brightness of 350/400 nits, and typical/HDR peak contrast ratios of 1000:1 and 100,000,000:1. The monitor covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 130% of the sRGB color gamut, is compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC, and supports AURA SYNC and ASUS’s Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology.
ASUS has equipped the ROG STRIX XG27UCG with the same ergonomic stand found on previous models like the ROG STRIX XG32WCMS/XG27UCS/XG27ACS, which includes a placement design for convenient charging of phones, ROG handhelds, and other devices during gaming. The ergonomic stand offers 0 to 120mm height adjustment, -45° to 45° horizontal swivel, -5° to 20° tilt, and -90° to 90° vertical rotation, allowing for flexible adaptation to various scenarios. It is also compatible with VESA standard (100 x 100 mm) wall mounts, making it easy for gamers to use an arm mount.
In terms of connectivity, the ROG STRIX XG27UCG provides an HDMI 2.1 port, a DP 1.4 port, a USB-C port (supporting DP Alt Mode and providing 15W PD charging), and a 3.5mm audio jack. Users can also utilize the ASUS DisplayWidget Center to effortlessly adjust the OSD and monitor settings with their mouse.
