ASRock releases AMD Radeon RX 7900 Passive series graphics cards
On July 26, ASRock officially launched the AMD Radeon RX 7900 Passive series graphics cards. This series includes two models: the RX 7900XT and the RX 7900XTX, both featuring a passive cooling system and powered through a 12V-2×6 interface.
According to ASRock’s official website, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 Passive series graphics cards utilize a VAPOR-CHAMBER heat spreader. The aluminum cooling fins of the graphics card are designed with V-shaped air ducts, and the card’s thickness is dual-slot, ensuring efficient heat dissipation even in multi-card working environments. For power delivery, this series uses a single horizontal 12V-2×6 interface. ASRock states that this interface reduces the number of cables required, optimizing the installation experience.
Additionally, to enhance the structural strength of the graphics card, each model in this series is equipped with a metal backplate. Combining these features, ASRock claims that the AMD Radeon RX 7900 Passive series graphics cards are undoubtedly the best choice for system integrators building multi-card systems.
