ASRock brings Arc A770/750 Challenger SE OC graphics card
Recently, ASRock launched two new graphics cards: the Arc A770 Challenger SE 16GB OC and the Arc A750 Challenger SE 8GB OC. Those familiar with ASRock’s Arc series will recognize these models as refined versions of the previously released Arc A770 Challenger 16GB OC and Arc A750 Challenger D 8GB OC.
First, in terms of dimensions, the Arc A770 Challenger SE 16GB OC and Arc A750 Challenger SE 8GB OC are slightly shorter than their predecessors, reducing from 271 x 122 x 48 mm to 267 x 130 x 48 mm. Additionally, the texture on the cooling shroud has been enriched, and LED lights have been added. The metal backplate now features additional cutouts to enhance heat dissipation. The display output interface specifications have been altered, with HDMI 2.1 downgraded to HDMI 2.0, and the A750 model has swapped one HDMI 2.1 port (retaining one HDMI 2.0) for a DP 1.4 port.
Both new models feature a dual-fan cooling design with a sleek, streamlined appearance. The proprietary striped axial fans optimize the stripe structure on each fan blade and the polished surface at the base, providing increased airflow to enhance cooling efficiency. They support 0dB Silent Cooling technology, where the fans activate to accelerate cooling when the GPU temperature rises and stop completely when the temperature drops, achieving a noise-free experience. The metal backplate not only enhances the card’s aesthetics and structural integrity but also includes a thermal pad to improve heat dissipation.
Moreover, ASRock has factory-overclocked both new graphics cards, with core frequencies slightly higher than the reference settings.
